AWN has partnered with The Drake House, an organization that “provides short-term crisis housing, education and empowerment programs for homeless single mothers and their children in North Fulton.” Our committee chairperson, Mandy Moore, coordinates a quarterly event or drive to benefit The Drake House.
The digital marketing committee is responsible for managing our website and social media. They also assist members who are having trouble registering for events, logging into our virtual events, or navigating around. We are looking for looking for someone to fill this role so please let us know if this is your area of expertise!
This committee manages our membership & communications by actively inviting potential new members to events and by reaching out to current members. They look for opportunities to enhance membership benefits, reach more Atlanta women, and increase overall member involvement as well as reviewing all content for AWN communications such as our monthly newsletter.
Our professional development committee coordinates workshops and other skill-building events for our members. We are seeking proposals from coaches and trainers on topics that might interest our members.
Our Programs committee coordinates all of our monthly and special events such as our monthly luncheon speakers, orchestrates the technology Tuesday, paint and sips, and ensures that we present relevant, quality presentations and events for our members.
The AWN sponsorship committee actively seeks new sponsors for the organization whether it be corporate or small business. They also evaluate requests for in-kind sponsorships.
